The AtlasIED FC-8D is an active two-way ceiling loudspeaker built for commercial AV projects that need refined audio performance, streamlined installation, and networked system control. Designed around IsoFlare technology, it supports Dante and AES67 audio transport and operates from PoE+ or PoE++, reducing infrastructure complexity by carrying audio, power, and control over a single CAT cable. This makes it well suited for conference spaces, hospitality venues, upscale retail, and other architecturally sensitive environments where coverage consistency and clean integration matter.
Integrated DSP, onboard amplification, and compatibility with AtlasIED Discover software give designers and integrators practical tools for configuration, supervision, and calibration across individual speakers or larger zones. The FC-8D also includes a secondary amplifier output for connection to a passive Atlas+Fyne loudspeaker, adding flexibility when expanding coverage locally. A toolless secure-clamp mounting system, bezel-less magnetic grille, and removable logo support efficient deployment while preserving a refined finished appearance.
