The AtlasIED FC-8ST is a direct-radiating blind-mount ceiling subwoofer built for distributed audio systems that need stronger low-frequency support without disrupting the ceiling aesthetic. Designed to complement AtlasIED IsoFlare FC ceiling speakers, it combines an 8.00" high-excursion weatherized cone driver with a tuned front baffle and a passive low-pass network for controlled bass integration in premium commercial and architectural spaces.
For integrators, the FC-8ST addresses both performance and installation efficiency. A patented toolless high-travel secure-clamp mechanism speeds mounting, while the bezel-less magnetic grille with removable logo supports clean architectural results and simplified painting. The built-in 60W 70/100V transformer offers tap selection by rotary switch and also supports low-impedance operation, making it easier to deploy in mixed system designs or retrofit projects.
This model is well suited for hospitality, corporate, upscale retail, and other installed environments where fuller low-end extension and additional headroom are needed from an overhead loudspeaker system. AtlasIED also notes enhanced voicing presets are available through the Atmosphere DSP platform, helping system designers refine integration with compatible FC series ceiling speakers. C-ring and tile bridges are included for suspended ceiling installations.
