The AtlasIED 221-30 is built for systems integrators and AV installers who need a reliable, fixed-installation rack enclosure without the cost premium of custom fabrication. Constructed from 16-gauge CRS with an 11-gauge CRS adjustable rail pair, this cabinet delivers the structural rigidity required for fully loaded equipment bays in permanent installs — whether that's a control room, NOC, house of worship, or distributed audio system rack room.
The cabinet's 6RU open areas at the top and bottom accept standard vent or solid filler panels, giving installers the flexibility to balance airflow management against aesthetics. Conduit knockout arrays on all surface and flange positions accommodate structured wiring runs cleanly, while stamped perforated vents on all sides and the rear door support passive convection cooling for heat-sensitive gear. The rear door ships with quick-release spring hinges that rotate 180° for right- or left-hand swing, reducing installation constraints in tight mechanical rooms.
Rack rails are precision-tapped 10-32, recessed 11/16" from the front plane, and marked with RU hash indicators for fast, accurate equipment alignment. Standard EIA 5/8"-5/8"-1/2" spacing ensures compatibility with the full range of professional rack-mount equipment. The phosphate pre-treated, textured black epoxy finish resists chipping and provides a professional appearance in client-facing installs. An optional front door is available and keyed differently from the included rear cylinder lock for added security zoning.
