The AtlasIED 35RU welded rack cabinet is engineered for systems integrators and AV installation teams who need a dependable, cost-effective enclosure for permanent rack builds. Constructed from 16-gauge CRS throughout, the cabinet delivers a rigid, long-service-life chassis suited to commercial AV, enterprise audio distribution, security, and building automation deployments. The phosphate pre-treated, textured black epoxy finish resists corrosion and ensures consistent paint adhesion across the entire exterior.
Installer productivity is built into every detail. The expanded 6RU opening at the top and bottom of the cabinet accommodates cable bundles without additional cutting, and can be closed with standard vent or solid panels when a sealed enclosure is preferred. Conduit knockout arrays on both surface and flange locations provide flexible entry points for structured wiring runs. The removable rear door rides on quick-release spring hinges that rotate 180° for right- or left-hand swing, eliminating clearance constraints in tight equipment rooms.
