The AtlasIED 244-series welded rack cabinet is engineered for systems integrators and AV installers who need a reliable, cost-effective enclosure for permanent installations in equipment rooms, server closets, and fixed-install AV environments. The 44RU capacity accommodates full-scale audio, video, and control systems in a single enclosure, while multiple depth options let integrators right-size the cabinet to the room and gear load.

Construction centers on 16-gauge CRS throughout — base, top, side panels, and rear door — delivering a rigid, weld-built chassis that holds alignment under loaded conditions. The included pair of 11-gauge CRS adjustable mounting rails are precision-tapped 10-32 and recessed to EIA standard 5/8"-5/8"-1/2" spacing, with RU hash marks for fast, accurate equipment placement. A 6RU knockout opening at the top and bottom of the cabinet simplifies cable routing without requiring custom cutouts, and conduit knockout arrays on surface panels and flanges support structured wiring infrastructure from day one.

The removable rear door rides on quick-release spring hinges that rotate 180° for left- or right-hand swing, making solo installation practical in tight equipment rooms. Cylinder lock security and a flush pull handle are standard; optional front doors are keyed differently for dual-zone access control. Perforated stamped vents on all surfaces and the rear door promote passive air convection, reducing the need for active cooling in moderate-density deployments.
