AtlasIED 312-15 19" Wall Cabinet With Adjustable Rails 12 RU

The AtlasIED 312-15 is a 12 RU wall-mount rack cabinet built for permanent installed AV, commercial audio, and system integration environments where floor space is at a premium. Its three-section welded construction — a solid-steel front door, a 15" deep center section with adjustable mounting rails, and a rear door — provides a rigid, field-serviceable enclosure suitable for signal processors, amplifiers, control interfaces, and network infrastructure in classrooms, boardrooms, houses of worship, and distributed audio systems.

For integrators, the 312-15 delivers infrastructure flexibility that surface-mount boxes and consumer enclosures cannot match. Twenty conduit knockouts on the rear section accommodate multiple conduit runs in standard 1" and concentric 1/2" and 3/4" sizes, and internal open raceways keep cable runs organized without custom fabrication. Boss detents on the rear section's back face accept custom sub-plates in plywood, aluminum, or steel, giving field technicians the ability to mount ancillary hardware without returning to the shop. Perforated side vents on the center section provide passive airflow across heat-generating rack equipment.

Structural integrity is addressed throughout: plug-welded center section panels, electric-welded seams and miters, frame flanges on all sides, and corner brace supports at the rear hinge reduce flex and sag under load. The center section guide plate — 11-gauge, 1-7/8" wide — distributes cabinet and equipment weight to the rear section and ensures proper alignment when closing a fully loaded cabinet. All mounting rails are tapped 10-32 to EIA 1/2" spacing, compatible with standard rack hardware across the installed AV product ecosystem. The #962 black epoxy finish is suited to exposed or semi-exposed installation environments.
