AtlasIED 316-12 19" Wall Cabinet With Adjustable Rails 16 RU

The AtlasIED 316-12 is a 16RU, 19-inch wide stand-alone wall cabinet engineered for permanent installed audio and AV infrastructure. Built from 16-gauge cold-rolled steel with a welded three-section construction, it is designed for integrators and contractors who need a structurally reliable, code-friendly enclosure in schools, houses of worship, corporate AV rooms, and broadcast facilities. The cabinet replaces floor-standing racks where physical space is a constraint without sacrificing the capacity to house amplifiers, DSPs, signal processors, and patch equipment in a secure, organized environment.

The center section features a 12-inch depth with EIA standard half-inch spacing and 10-32 tapped adjustable front rails, accommodating the widest range of rackmount equipment. Internal open raceways route cabling cleanly through the enclosure, while 20 rear conduit knockouts in multiple sizes allow for flexible conduit entry from top, bottom, and back flanges. Perforated vents on both sides of the center section support passive thermal management for electronics operating in enclosed spaces.

Structural integrity is addressed through plug-welded center sections, electric-welded seams, reinforced frame flanges, and corner brace supports on the rear hinge side. A uniquely designed center section guide plate distributes cabinet and equipment weight to the rear section, preventing sagging under load. Boss detents on the rear interior accept custom sub-plates for accessory mounting, and the #962 black epoxy finish provides a professional appearance in finished installation environments.
