The AtlasIED 417-8WD is a surface-mount wall baffle and enclosure designed for installed audio environments where both acoustic performance and visual presentation matter. Built from wood composite wrapped in walnut grain vinyl with a black cloth grille, it fits naturally into commercial interiors such as conference rooms, hospitality venues, houses of worship, and retail spaces where exposed industrial hardware is not acceptable.
The 9.5° forward slope is an intentional acoustic design choice: it redirects the speaker's radiation angle toward the listening area rather than projecting straight out from the wall, improving intelligibility and coverage without DSP or repositioning. Speaker mounting studs accept standard 8-inch drivers, giving integrators flexibility to pair the enclosure with their preferred transducer for the application.
