The 15RU configuration supports a practical range of installed audio, control, and signal processing equipment without consuming excess cabinet space, making it a strong fit for corporate AV, hospitality, and house-of-worship installations where aesthetics and access both matter.

Every AFR Series rack ships with front and rear rack rails plus dual adjustable lacing bars, so installers can route and dress signal and power wiring cleanly without sourcing additional accessories. The rack is assembled domestically at AtlasIED's Ennis, TX facility using 16-gauge cold-rolled steel with a black electrostatic powder coat finish — construction choices that prioritize dimensional consistency and long-term durability in permanent installs. For installations requiring repeated service access, the optional AFR16RK or AFR18RK glide kit mounts the rack on a slide mechanism so the entire assembly pulls forward out of the furniture without disturbing connections.
