The AtlasIED AH66-212-BSG is engineered for system integrators and AV professionals tasked with delivering intelligible audio across large, open areas — stadiums, amphitheaters, racetracks, and outdoor venues where pattern control and weather durability are non-negotiable. The 65° x 65° coverage pattern focuses sound precisely into the listening plane, minimizing spill and maximizing speech intelligibility at distance.
The three-way design pairs dual 12" cast-frame woofers with a 1.5" midrange compression driver and a 1" HF compression driver, each managed by a purpose-built crossover that provides both frequency division and driver protection per band. The UV-resistant fiberglass enclosure and three-stage corrosion-resistant steel mesh filtering system are built to survive long-term outdoor exposure including UV degradation, moisture ingress, and pest intrusion — conditions that would compromise lesser enclosures.
For high-powered installs requiring finer system control, the exterior jumper can be removed to enable bi-amplification across the LF and MF+HF bands. Atlas recommends pairing with the ASP-MG24 speaker controller in these configurations. Seven internally reinforced forged eyebolts support suspended installation, making rigging integration straightforward for experienced crews.
