It receives infrared signals from up to two simultaneously active wireless transmitters, allowing a teacher and a student assistant to move freely within the space while maintaining consistent audio output to an installed amplifier over RCA. Unlike RF-based portable receivers, the AL-EAGLE is purpose-built for the controlled indoor environment of a classroom, where IR propagation provides channel isolation without interference from adjacent rooms or outside RF sources.
For AV system designers specifying school-wide communication and safety infrastructure, the AL-EAGLE includes a contact closure output tied to the panic feature on compatible AL-MAGPIE or AL-MYNA transmitters operating in teacher mode. This enables the wireless microphone system to double as a classroom alert trigger, integrating directly into a secondary emergency signaling system without additional hardware. The F-pin remote antenna input extends coverage to larger instructional spaces by connecting a second AL-IRDS infrared dome, making the AL-EAGLE scalable from standard classrooms to auditoriums or lecture halls.
Installation is straightforward for integrators already working with 100V–240V environments — the included external PSU handles international voltage, and the side-mounted dual volume controls allow precise channel mixing at the receiver rather than at the amplifier.
