The AtlasIED AP-15TUCR is engineered for installers and systems integrators who need a reliable, code-compliant voice evacuation and paging speaker in demanding environments. As a double re-entrant compression driver design, it achieves the high intelligibility required for emergency signaling, intercommunication, and facility-wide paging — applications where speech clarity under stress is non-negotiable. Its 400Hz–14kHz operating range is optimized for voice-band reproduction, making it appropriate for fire protective signaling systems, institutional PA, and industrial intercommunication.
The built-in Vari-Tap transformer supports 25V and 70.7V distributed audio systems with selectable power taps, giving installers the flexibility to balance line loading without external transformers. The 5 mfd capacitor enables line supervision, a requirement in supervised fire alarm circuits. The Omni-Purpose mounting bracket allows single-adjustment positioning in both vertical and horizontal planes and accommodates surface mounting as well as strap mounting on I-beams and pillars — reducing hardware and labor on complex installs.
Constructed from metal and ABS plastic with a grey epoxy finish on metal components, the AP-15TUCR is built for weather-resistant performance. It meets UL 1480 for fire protective signaling and California State Fire Marshal Title 19 requirements. U.S. manufacture backs the 60-month warranty, making it a defensible long-term choice for life-safety and mass notification infrastructure.
