AtlasIED AP-S15A Rack Mount Power Conditioner and Distribution Unit

The AP-S15A is designed for AV integrators and system installers who need reliable AC power conditioning in a standard 1U rack enclosure. It addresses the two most common causes of equipment damage and performance degradation in installed systems: line noise from RFI and EMI sources, and transient voltage spikes from unstable AC mains. The onboard filtering suppresses interference introduced by nearby radio transmitters, wireless gear, electric motors, and switching power supplies — all common culprits in dense rack environments.

Surge suppression circuitry responds within a nanosecond and sustains protection up to 2 milliseconds, handling voltage events up to 6kV and current peaks up to 3000A. This level of protection is critical in installed AV environments where equipment replacement costs and downtime are unacceptable. The removable IEC power cord with a retainer bracket provides a clean, secure connection to the AC source, reducing the risk of accidental disconnection in rack installations.

With a mix of switched and unswitched outlets on both the front and rear panels, the AP-S15A gives integrators flexible control over which devices power on and off independently — a practical advantage when sequencing racks or servicing individual components without cutting power to the entire system. The 15A load rating and 102–132VAC operating range cover standard North American installations across commercial, house of worship, corporate, and education AV environments.
