The AtlasIED AP-S15IP is built for AV integrators and system engineers who need more than a basic rack strip — it delivers full IP-based remote control and monitoring for AC power distribution in permanent installations. Whether managing a boardroom AV rack, a broadcast equipment bay, or a multi-zone installed audio system, the AP-S15IP lets operators monitor voltage, current, temperature, and humidity in real time through a web-based UI without requiring physical access to the rack.
Each of the eight rear-panel switched outlets can be individually named, scheduled on a 24/7 basis, and sequenced on or off with user-defined delay times — a critical advantage when powering amplifiers, DSPs, and displays in a specific order to protect equipment. The front-panel unswitched outlet provides an always-on convenience circuit for local technicians. The Auto Ping Reset feature actively monitors connected devices and can trigger outlet resets when a device becomes unresponsive, reducing the need for on-site service calls.
Unlike passive PDUs, the AP-S15IP includes a 2-meter external temperature and humidity probe, an included AP-LEDIP display panel for at-a-glance rack status, and RFI noise filtering to prevent interference from nearby wireless transmitters from degrading audio or video signals. DHCP and static IP addressing, password protection, GPIO fault reporting, and fault logging round out a feature set designed for long-term managed installations where uptime and remote serviceability are non-negotiable.
