The AtlasIED APR-30AT is engineered for facilities engineers and AV integrators deploying distributed paging or intercom systems in demanding environments. Its 40° circular dispersion pattern makes it a practical choice for overhead ceiling or truss installations in manufacturing floors, transit hubs, warehouses, and transportation terminals where broad horizontal coverage from a single point is required.
The internal combination 25/70.7/100-volt transformer with screwdriver-adjustable power taps gives installers direct control over zone levels without external components. With five selectable power taps from 2W to 30W at 70.7V, the APR-30AT integrates cleanly into 70V and 100V distributed audio systems already common in commercial and industrial installs. The suspension ring on top of the unit supports a range of mounting orientations, and the grey baked epoxy finish holds up in the harsh conditions typical of these environments.
For integrators who need vandal-resistant termination, the optional BX-1A cast aluminum cover plate accommodates armored cable and conduit connections. The APR-30AT's frequency response is tuned for voice intelligibility rather than full-range music reproduction, making it the right tool where paging clarity and speech articulation under ambient noise are the primary performance criteria.
