The AtlasIED ASP-MG2240 is engineered for AV integrators and facility managers deploying sound masking in commercial offices, conference rooms, and HIPAA-regulated medical environments. It consolidates two analog masking generators, dual 30-watt 70.7V amplifier channels, and a full DSP engine into a single 1U chassis, eliminating the need for a separate mixer, amplifier, and signal processor in most installations.

Two independent masking zones allow coverage of a single open-plan space up to 7,000 sq ft or two discrete zones up to 3,500 sq ft each — making it practical for tenant buildouts, medical suites, and multi-room office environments. Preconfigured Chanaud Masking Filter presets reduce commissioning time, while the PC control software allows full customization and settings backup for repeatable deployments across multi-site projects.

Beyond masking, the ASP-MG2240 supports paging via a balanced Mic/Line input and background audio via an auxiliary input, each with selectable 5-band EQ, Hi/Lo pass filters, and adjustable output limiters. The Speech Privacy Enhancement mode, activatable by a wall switch with optional visual indicator signage, is specifically tuned for private meeting rooms requiring speech privacy compliance.
