The AtlasIED AT35 is a 35-watt auto transformer attenuator designed for AV integrators and systems contractors deploying 25V or 70.7V distributed audio in commercial environments — hospitality venues, corporate facilities, retail spaces, and houses of worship. Its auto transformer topology provides excellent frequency response and low insertion loss, preserving audio quality at every attenuation step rather than degrading the signal path the way resistive attenuators can.
The ten-position make-before-break switching design protects the transformer from open-circuit spikes during adjustment, and the positive off position eliminates the no-stop gap that can cause switch damage in standard assemblies. Silver-plated contacts ensure long-term, noise-free operation in installations where reliable zone control is expected. The removable terminal block simplifies field wiring and reduces installation time during rough-in and trim-out phases.
The included stainless steel single-gang plate with a stamped and filled dial scale and skirted black knob presents a professional, durable finish suited for high-traffic commercial environments. The unit mounts into standard 1-gang electrical outlet boxes, making it compatible with the vast majority of North American wall-box infrastructure without adapters or custom cutouts.
