The Decora-style form factor mounts directly into standard 1-gang electrical outlet boxes, allowing seamless integration alongside other low-voltage devices in professional installations. The ten-step make-before-break switching design prevents signal interruption during adjustment, while a positive off position with no dead stop between maximum and off protects the switch mechanism from damage over the long service life typical of installed systems.
Silver-plated contacts ensure consistent, noise-free operation across the full 27dB attenuation range. A removable terminal block simplifies field wiring, and the package includes both white and ivory plastic plates with matching skirted knobs so the installer can match existing décor without ordering separate hardware.
