The AtlasIED AtlasIED AWR Tilt Out Wall Cabinet 2RU is built for AV integrators and systems contractors who need secure, accessible rack mounting in permanent installations where floor or rack room space is unavailable. The welded steel construction and locking tilt-out door make it the right choice for remote amp closets, classrooms, conference rooms, and distributed audio systems where equipment must remain tamper-resistant but still accessible for service.
The two-position door design addresses a real installation need: tilt out for day-to-day operation, or release the side catches to swing the door to approximately 90 degrees for full equipment access during commissioning or maintenance. Two steel safety catch cables hold the door securely at 90 degrees, keeping hands free during rack work. The included trim ring supports recessed mounting in finished wall cavities, and six concentric conduit knockouts on the rear box simplify cable entry planning for structured wiring environments.
A 3RU panel opening above the main bay provides dedicated space for connector panels or power distribution — a practical advantage over competitors that offer only a single undivided bay. Front panels feature 45-degree mitered edges for a flush, finished appearance suited to client-facing installations. The AWR series ships complete and ready for installation, reducing staging time on commercial and residential integration projects.
