The AtlasIED AWR3W-HR is built for AV integrators who need a clean, low-profile equipment enclosure in commercial or institutional installs. Designed to fit within standard 16-inch stud wall construction, it eliminates the need for custom wall modifications, significantly reducing installation labor and material costs on projects where aesthetics and code compliance matter.
The cabinet's two-position tilt-out door gives technicians fast access for daily operation without tools, then swings open to a full 90 degrees — held safely in place by two integrated steel safety catch cables — for equipment installation and servicing. The locking door closes flush against the rack faceplate, keeping gear secure against tampering in public or semi-public environments such as classrooms, boardrooms, hospitality spaces, and retail installations.
Constructed from 18-gauge CRS throughout, with 12-gauge CRS rack rails pre-tapped for 10-32 hardware, the AWR3W-HR accepts standard half-rack-width components across three rack units. Six concentric conduit knockouts on the back box support clean cable management for both half-inch and three-quarter-inch conduit, making this enclosure a practical choice wherever a permanent, tamper-resistant rack solution is required.
