The AtlasIED AZMP8-DW is engineered for commercial AV integrators who need a complete, rack-free audio control solution for multi-zone installations in corporate, hospitality, retail, education, or house-of-worship environments. The on-wall locking cabinet eliminates traditional rack infrastructure while providing room for peripheral devices like a network switch or music streamer, making it a practical choice for spaces where rack rooms aren't feasible.
At the core of the AZMP8-DW is a powerful DSP engine with amplifier power sharing technology, allowing each of the eight output channels to be software-assigned anywhere from 5W to 600W rather than fixed at a static rating — a critical advantage for avoiding overdesign and tailoring power delivery to actual loudspeaker loads. Dante networking via an onboard Brooklyn 3 card supports 14x8 source and zone channels with full signal processing, plus additional Dante outputs for on-ramping audio into a broader Dante infrastructure. Up to 16 Atmosphere wall plate accessories across four ports extend control, remote audio input, and ambient noise sensing up to 1,000 feet per port.
Programming is handled through a Progressive Web App interface accessible via Ethernet or built-in Wi-Fi, making commissioning and adjustment straightforward from any device without proprietary software. Third-party control integration with RTI, Crestron, Extron, and AMX ensures the AZMP8-DW fits into existing control ecosystems. The built-in message player, bell scheduler, room combine, sound masking suite, auto noise compensation, and GPIO round out a feature set that scales from simple BGM systems to complex paging and scheduling environments.
