The AtlasIED BB-88 is a professional networkable DSP processor built for system integrators and AV designers who need scalable, reliable signal processing across complex installed environments. With eight balanced inputs and eight balanced outputs on Phoenix-style connectors, it handles routing, equalization, crossover, dynamics, and mixing for demanding applications including house of worship, conference rooms, courtrooms, video conferencing systems, multi-zone paging, room combining, and background music distribution.

Unlike fixed-architecture DSP units, the BB-88 uses AtlasIED's open-architecture BlueBridge drag-and-drop software platform, giving designers the flexibility to build signal flows tailored to each project rather than working within preset templates. The 40-bit floating point DSP engine prevents the digital clipping common in competing products at this price point, while THAT Corp microphone preamps and 24-bit converters deliver an ultra-low noise floor suited to speech intelligibility and critical listening environments. Ethernet connectivity enables TCP/IP control and third-party integration without additional hardware for most deployments.

The BB-88 also integrates with AtlasIED's BluePanel software, allowing designers to build custom end-user control interfaces accessible over the network, including programming of the BB-TOUCH7 wall panel for volume, source selection, and room combining — keeping core DSP settings locked from unauthorized adjustment.
