AtlasIED BMT95-4-7 4" Blind-Mount Ceiling Enclosure Extra Depth

The AtlasIED BMT95-4-7 is an extra-depth blind-mount ceiling enclosure engineered for integrators tackling retrofit installations where access above the ceiling is limited or unavailable. Carrying U.S. Patent No. 4,673,149, the system ships with all required hardware, including telescoping mounting ears that extend from inside the enclosure to grip ceilings ranging in thickness from thin drywall to thicker suspended tile assemblies — no additional brackets required.

Constructed from cold-rolled steel with a textured black epoxy finish, the BMT95-4-7 is the 7-inch deep variant in the blind-mount line, providing the internal volume needed to support extended low-frequency output from 4-inch drivers. High-density fiberglass fill is included to reduce metallic resonance that plagues bare-metal enclosures. Three half-inch conduit knockouts on the backplate accommodate clean cable routing in commercial and hospitality environments.

The enclosure is designed to accept AtlasIED torsion-spring grille models T51-84 and T720-4BT for tool-free grille attachment, while J-nuts on the enclosure return allow surface-mount grille options as well. For AV integrators specifying distributed audio in offices, retail spaces, or retrofit hospitality venues, the BMT95-4-7 eliminates the need for custom framing or specialized ceiling access equipment.
