The AtlasIED CD Series re-entrant horns are engineered for AV integrators and sound contractors who require predictable, controlled dispersion in demanding paging and mass notification installations. Unlike conical horn designs, the CD Series maintains uniform horizontal coverage across a defined frequency range, making it a reliable choice for transportation hubs, warehouses, stadiums, campuses, and outdoor venues where intelligibility at distance is critical.
Each horn is constructed from polyester resin and glass-fiber laminate integrally molded to a die-cast zinc throat section, delivering the environmental resistance required for both indoor and outdoor deployment without compromising acoustic integrity. The proven CJ46-style heavy-duty steel mounting bracket with positive lock supports horizontal and vertical positioning, and accommodates single or stacked multi-unit cluster configurations — giving installers the flexibility to address complex coverage geometries.
The CD Series accepts all AtlasIED PD Series drivers via standard 1 3/8"-18 female threads, including the PD30, PD-5, and PD60 Series, allowing integrators to spec the driver to match project sensitivity and SPL requirements. A 60-month warranty reflects the product's suitability for permanent installed systems where long-term reliability is non-negotiable.
