The AtlasIED CLA402 targets commercial AV integrators and installed sound engineers who need a single amplifier platform that bridges constant-voltage distributed systems and low-impedance sound reinforcement without separate hardware. Its two channels each support 2Ω, 4Ω, 8Ω, 25V, 70.7V, and 100V operation, configured independently via rear-panel switches — eliminating the need to stock separate 70V and direct-drive amplifiers for mixed-use facilities like houses of worship, corporate campuses, and hospitality venues.
The patented Power Share architecture is the defining differentiator in the CLA402's class. Rather than locking each channel to a fixed output, Power Share allows integrators to shift wattage between channels — 2×200W, 1×350W/50W, 1×300W/100W, or 1×250W/150W — so high-demand zones receive the headroom they need without over-specifying the install. The switch-mode global auto-sensing power supply maintains stable output across fluctuating line conditions, making it a practical choice for touring production support racks and permanent installs in regions with inconsistent mains.
Thermal management is handled through a convection-first design that keeps the amplifier silent during typical installed audio operation; variable-speed fans engage only when required.
