    The integrated UL-listed AC power pack delivers five 15 Amp Edison-style outlets — four inside the cabinet and one exposed downward-facing outlet for a projector. Three mounting methods are supported: threaded rod suspension via the optional CR222TRK kit, aircraft cable suspension via the optional CR2CK kit, or third-party hardware using the cabinet's extruded mounting ears. Side panels include removable 4" square cover plates with conduit knockouts, replaceable with custom plates carrying virtually any AV or data connector type.

The AtlasIED CR222 Series is built for AV integrators who need a clean, code-compliant way to conceal control and distribution equipment above a drop ceiling. The UL plenum-rated cabinet fits a standard 2' x 2' ceiling tile grid and includes a door frame designed to accept a cut ceiling tile, making the entire installation virtually invisible once complete. Safety cables and retention thumb screws keep the door secure during normal operation, while retainer tabs lock the ceiling tile cutout in place — details that matter on commercial installs where liability and finish quality both count.

The AmbiTILT shelf mechanism sets this family apart from fixed-shelf ceiling racks. Integrators can release the front cane bolts to tilt the shelf forward for front-panel access, release the rear cane bolts to expose rear connectors without pulling any equipment, or disengage all cane bolts and safety cables entirely to remove the shelf for bench-level service. This ambidextrous design dramatically reduces service time on installs where ladder access is the only option. The universal mounting holes on the shelf accommodate bolt-down and tie-down configurations for equipment that isn't rack-mountable, and an optional rack rail kit adds standard 19
