The AtlasIED D161-8 is engineered for commercial integrators and AV contractors who need a reliable, ready-to-install ceiling speaker solution for paging and background music applications. By arriving factory-assembled with the dual-cone speaker, dual-voltage transformer, and square baffle pre-wired, this unit eliminates field assembly time and reduces the risk of wiring errors on the job site.

The D Series uses the 8" C10A driver with a 10-ounce ceramic magnet, delivering a 105° dispersion pattern suited for even coverage in lobbies, corridors, retail spaces, offices, and similar commercial environments. The 25V/70.7V transformer includes pre-wired secondary leads with color-coded, stripped, and tinned primaries, supporting tap selections from 0.5 to 4 watts to match system design requirements without additional hardware.

The square recessed grille features a white epoxy finish that integrates cleanly into standard drop ceilings. For installations requiring code compliance or non-standard ceiling types, AtlasIED offers a range of compatible recessed and surface-mount enclosures, mounting rings, and tile bridge accessories sold separately, making this unit adaptable across a wide variety of install conditions.
