Sonic compatibility with the legacy C803A model makes the DD87W-HC a reliable choice for expanding or refreshing existing AtlasIED distributed audio systems without re-equalization or noticeable tonal mismatch. The integrated 70.7V transformer supports 1, 2, 4, and 8-watt primary taps, giving system designers flexibility in zoning and coverage density on 70V distributed systems. The transformer is wound with audio-grade laminations and maintains a full-range response with minimal insertion loss, preserving program quality across the tap range.
The factory-installed 62-8 style CRS baffle with concealed mounting studs simplifies installation and delivers a clean finished appearance.
