The AtlasIED DMA-BT is designed for integrators and AV system designers who need a reliable, commercial-grade Bluetooth audio input point for installed sound environments. Purpose-built as an accessory for the DMA Digital Mixer Amplifier series, it connects directly to the amplifier using plug-and-play CAT5/6 cabling, eliminating proprietary wiring requirements and simplifying rough-in. With a maximum installation distance of 330 ft (100 meters), the DMA-BT gives integrators the flexibility to position the Bluetooth receiver exactly where user interaction is needed, whether at a lectern, reception desk, or entry point in a commercial facility.
The DMA-BT leverages Bluetooth 5.1 technology tuned specifically for commercial deployment. Unlike consumer Bluetooth devices, it includes no auto-reconnect behavior, preventing stray or previous users from inadvertently regaining control of the audio system. The bump disconnect button allows venue staff to terminate a Bluetooth session immediately without accessing any backend configuration. The Bluetooth discovery name is fully customizable through the DMA App, a meaningful feature for multi-zone venues where clear source identification reduces user confusion. An onboard signal limiter with adjustable settings keeps bus levels in check, and the faceplate provides signal and limiter status indicators for quick visual confirmation during operation.
Installation is straightforward for low-voltage contractors. The wall plate fits a standard single-gang electrical box or low-voltage ring and requires only 1.5 inches of clearance depth, making it compatible with typical construction profiles. For installations requiring a power supply and breakout board, AtlasIED offers the WTSD-BT kit, which bundles the DMA-BT with the PWBOB accessory and a 24 VDC power supply.
