Wiring the DMA-V into an installation is straightforward for any low-voltage technician. The plate uses industry-standard Cat5/6 cable terminated with RJ45 connectors on a color-coded scheme, eliminating guesswork during rough-in and reducing troubleshooting time on commissioning day. With a supported cable run of up to 100 meters, the DMA-V offers genuine architectural flexibility for larger spaces. It fits standard single-gang electrical boxes and low-voltage mounting rings without requiring a separate cover plate, keeping the finished wall appearance clean and professional.
For single-zone installations, the DMA-V connects directly to a DMA amplifier for Zone 1 remote control. Two-zone configurations pair a DMA with an LMA amplifier for Zone 2, with a second DMA-V at the LMA providing independent control. The plate also supports assignment across up to four sources and includes onboard signal and limiter indicators, giving installers a passive diagnostic reference without pulling rack covers.
