The AtlasIED DMA-VS is a low-voltage wall plate controller designed for AV integrators and systems installers deploying AtlasIED DMA and LMA series amplifiers in commercial spaces. It consolidates rotary level control and assignable source selection into a single device, reducing hardware at the listening position while keeping full system configuration centralized at the amplifier. Typical deployments include restaurants, retail environments, presentation rooms, and classrooms where end users need simple, reliable daily control without access to amplifier settings.
Wiring is straightforward: the DMA-VS uses standard Cat5/6 cable terminated with a color-coded RJ45 connector, allowing runs up to 330 feet from the amplifier. The SureClick rotating, latching source selector supports up to four sources assignable via the DMA-APP over Bluetooth, preventing accidental input changes while giving integrators flexibility during commissioning. A front-panel bi-color LED provides real-time signal presence and limiter status from the linked amplifier, which is genuinely useful during system checkout and troubleshooting without requiring access to the rack.
The DMA-VS mounts in a standard single-gang electrical box or low-voltage ring at a minimum depth of 2 inches, fitting within existing commercial AV rough-in infrastructure. In single-zone systems it delivers full zone control. In two-zone configurations, pairing one DMA-VS per zone with a DMA plus LMA amplifier provides completely independent zone management. Power is drawn from the amplifier control port at 24 VDC, so no additional power supply or home-run wiring is needed.
