The AtlasIED DNA2404CH is engineered for installed distributed audio applications where a full 16-zone T9160 frame is unnecessary but network-managed amplification is still required. Designed as a core component of the IED GLOBALCOM Communications System, it also accepts third-party CobraNet sources, making it a flexible fit for mixed infrastructure deployments in airports, campuses, healthcare facilities, and large commercial installs.

Class D amplification paired with a switching-mode power supply eliminates the need for heavy output transformers while delivering high efficiency and stable performance under varying load conditions across phase angles from 0 to 360 degrees. Input routing, EQ, delay, and output levels are all managed through network commands — either via the GLOBALCOM System Management Center or a standalone configuration utility — removing the need for local analog control hardware.

For integrators managing complex acoustic environments, the DNA2404CH supports up to eight 540S ambient noise sensors across its four channels, enabling real-time automatic output level adjustment per zone. Combined with sound masking, 18-band per-channel EQ, automatic paging ducking, and built-in loudspeaker line testing for detecting ground faults and load changes, this amplifier handles demanding life-safety and paging system requirements that general-purpose install amps cannot match.
