The AtlasIED ECM-30 is a 30A Electrical Control Module designed for installed AV environments where reliable AC power conditioning and spike suppression are critical. It operates as a standalone conditioner or integrates with the ECS-6RM controller at distances up to 1,000 feet, making it well-suited for distributed audio systems, commercial installs, and enterprise AV infrastructure where centralized power management is required.
The ECM-30 incorporates active spike and surge suppression circuitry capable of clamping voltage spikes up to 6,000V and 3,000A, providing a meaningful layer of protection for sensitive electronics in permanently installed racks. When used with the ECS-6RM, Extreme Voltage Shutdown automatically disconnects the unit during high or low AC line conditions, reducing risk of equipment damage without requiring manual intervention at the rack.
The unit requires a compatible mechanical rackmount housing — ECM-RACEWY1, ECM-RACEWY3, or ECM-RACEWY6 — for installation. Status LEDs for incoming AC presence, active state, and AC fault give technicians at-a-glance diagnostics. ETL certification to UL 1449 confirms the suppression circuitry meets recognized safety standards for permanent installation use.
