AtlasIED ECS-204 20A Power Conditioner and Sequencer 1RU

The AtlasIED ECS-204 targets systems integrators and AV installation professionals who need reliable, code-compliant AC power management in a single rack unit. The unit distributes 20A across nine outlets — six sequenced rear outputs staged across three internal timing sections, one rear unswitched outlet, and two front unswitched outlets — making it suitable for corporate AV racks, house-of-worship installations, and any permanent system where controlled power-up order is critical to protecting downstream equipment.

Remote activation flexibility sets this conditioner apart in its class. Operators can trigger the sequence from the front panel, via a rear-panel momentary or latching switch, or through a 5–24VDC logic signal, which integrates cleanly with room control systems and AMX or Crestron environments. A fourth sequenced output provides a 12VDC or contact closure trigger, enabling expansion through additional AtlasIED power modules or chaining up to three ECS-204 units together for 12 sequenced outlets total. Sequence timing is field-selectable at the rear panel across four intervals from three seconds to two minutes.

For protection, Dual Clamping Suppression circuitry operates at the AC mains input and again at each sequenced output stage, clamping transients within a nanosecond and sustaining suppression up to two milliseconds — addressing the kind of voltage events common in installations near industrial equipment or in lightning-prone regions. The Emergency Power Down port satisfies local fire codes requiring instant all-channel shutoff, a requirement that often determines whether a system passes site inspection. A front-panel digital voltmeter, AC fault and wiring fault indicators, and Extreme Voltage Shutdown round out the monitoring capabilities that commissioning engineers depend on during system bring-up and ongoing maintenance.
