The AtlasIED ECS-3 is designed for systems integrators and AV installation professionals who need reliable, sequenced AC power distribution in a 1 RU rack footprint. With nine total outlets divided into three sequential switching stages, it eliminates the hard-start spikes and power-on noise that can damage amplifiers, DSPs, and signal processors in permanent install environments. Its compact depth makes it practical in shallow racks where full-depth conditioners won't fit.
Remote activation flexibility sets the ECS-3 apart from basic strip-style conditioners. Integrators can trigger sequencing via front panel momentary switch, rear contact closure, or a 5-24VDC external trigger — enabling clean integration with room control systems and third-party automation platforms. A front panel digital AC voltmeter provides real-time mains monitoring, while Extreme Voltage Shutdown protection automatically disconnects the system if line voltage falls below 102V or exceeds 132V, guarding downstream equipment from brownouts and overvoltages.
Built-in RFI and EMI filtering alongside dual-clamping spike and surge suppression address the interference and transient threats common in commercial and house-of-worship installations. A pull-out dimmable LED tube light and optional XLR-socket gooseneck lamp keep the rack interior accessible during installs and service calls. The sequenced 24VDC trigger output allows the ECS-3 to chain additional power modules such as the AtlasIED ECM-20SH when the 15A source capacity is not sufficient for the full system load.
