The AtlasIED EFP3-2 is designed for system integrators and rack builders who need reliable thermal management in 19" EIA-standard cabinets. Occupying 3RU, it fits naturally into AV equipment racks found in broadcast facilities, installed sound systems, control rooms, and touring production racks where heat buildup from densely packed gear poses a real risk to equipment longevity.
Unlike passive venting or single-fan alternatives, the EFP3-2 uses two fans in a recessed-mount assembly, moving a combined 230 CFM to clear heat rapidly from enclosed cabinets. The 16-gauge CRS panel with nickel chrome plated wire grille and steel wire mesh screen provides durable protection without restricting airflow — a meaningful difference in environments where rack access is infrequent and durability matters. The standard black finish integrates cleanly into existing rack infrastructure without modification.
Integrators who need flexibility will appreciate the factory exhaust orientation that can be rotated in the field to intake cooling without tools, and the included 6 ft. line cord that eliminates additional wiring sourcing. Mounting to all EIA standard rails keeps installation straightforward across mixed-manufacturer rack systems.
