Installed before drywall is hung, it serves as a precise pattern cutout guide for the drywall contractor, ensuring the finished opening aligns exactly with a compatible Strategy Series enclosure or plaster ring — eliminating guesswork and costly rework during the finish phase of a project.
Suited for corporate, education, hospitality, and house-of-worship installs, this bracket identifies pre-wire locations early in construction, allowing AV rough-in to proceed in parallel with the build schedule rather than waiting for drywall completion. Mounting hole patterns accommodate both 16" and 24" on-center stud or joist spacing, covering the full range of standard framing configurations without requiring additional hardware or adapters.
Constructed from galvanized steel, the bracket delivers the rigidity and corrosion resistance expected in professional installation environments. Note that the trim ring alone does not support direct grille installation — a compatible enclosure such as the FA97-4 or FA95-4, or an FAPR plaster ring, is required to complete the assembly and accept the Strategy Series grille.
