The internally housed 70.7V/100V transformer is built to minimize insertion loss while preserving low-frequency response, a meaningful advantage over designs that compromise bass extension for transformer compliance. The optimally tuned, ported deep-drawn galvanized steel enclosure extends low-frequency output without requiring a separate subwoofer in standard applications, though the system pairs directly with the FAPSUB when sub-bass reinforcement is needed.

Installation flexibility is a core design consideration: the included C-ring/V-rail tile bridge and dog-leg mounting hardware support both drop tile and sheetrock ceiling deployments without additional hardware.
