For installed sound engineers, the internal 70.7V/100V transformer is engineered to minimize insertion loss and preserve low-frequency response at higher tap settings — a common weak point in budget distributed audio hardware. The front-mounted tap selector switch lets technicians adjust system levels after installation without pulling the speaker from the ceiling, which reduces commissioning time in large deployments. A 4-pole detachable Phoenix-style connector simplifies pre-wiring and supports daisy-chaining to additional full-range speakers or subwoofers across distributed zones.
