Rather than sourcing speaker, transformer, and baffle separately, the FD25W ships as a complete unit with an 8" treated paper cone speaker, 25V transformer, and screw-type grille already mounted on a 62-8 style baffle.
With a 1" diameter voice coil and a frequency response suited to voice and music reproduction, this assembly fits the demands of retail, hospitality, corporate, and institutional audio installations where consistent intelligibility across large areas is the priority. The 105° dispersion characteristic supports wide coverage in low-ceiling environments, and selectable power taps from 0.5 to 5 watts give system designers flexibility in distributing load across a 25V line.
