The AtlasIED FMA35-25G is a 35RU gangable rack enclosure engineered with direct contractor input for large-scale AV installations where wire management, structural integrity, and long-term expandability are non-negotiable. It targets systems integrators and installation crews deploying multi-rack arrays in houses of worship, education facilities, corporate AV rooms, and broadcast infrastructure — environments where field-configured growth is expected rather than exceptional.
Hat sections are completely redesigned with rail slots and retainer holes for superior load strength, and are sized to accept standard 19-inch panels, making them practical for mounting channel nets, lacing bars, power strips, and bus bars without custom fabrication. Two pairs of adjustable 12-gauge CRS mounting rails are plated, drilled, and tapped 10-32 with rack unit hash marks for precise equipment positioning. Removable 2U panels at the rear top and bottom include pre-punched 3/8-inch knockouts sized for BNC connectors — a deliberate design choice for diversity wireless deployments that eliminates field drilling.
A dedicated 10RU open area at the top accepts AtlasIED fan panels or 5000-series top panels for thermal management without sacrificing rack real estate. Optional plexiglass, perforated steel, or solid front doors can be added after equipment loading via pre-drilled holes with factory-installed threaded inserts. Swing-out side panels are available separately for securing end units in ganging configurations. The scratch-resistant textured black epoxy finish holds up in active installation environments where casework takes routine mechanical contact.
