The AtlasIED FS Series 8" surface mount loudspeaker is engineered for designers and integrators specifying distributed audio in high-end commercial environments. Built around AtlasIED's IsoFlare point source driver, the loudspeaker propagates a spherical wavefront across all axes, producing a constant time delay over the full frequency spectrum. The result is exceptional off-axis performance and uniform coverage throughout the listening area, qualities that discrete and conventional coaxial designs cannot consistently deliver at scale across a project.
The FS Series fits distributed system installations where 70V or 100V operation is required. A 60W transformer with extremely low insertion loss is built in, and a rear-mounted slide selector switch with security cover makes tap configuration and low-impedance bypass straightforward during commissioning. The enclosure carries an IP65 rating, making it suitable for environments where moisture or dust exposure is a concern. A weather-treated multi-fiber cone, ferrofluid-cooled titanium HF driver with neodymium magnet, and high-current premium crossover components ensure the acoustic performance holds up in demanding long-term installations.
For system design workflow, full EASE, EASE Focus, CF2, 3D CAD, and BIM/Revit file families are available from AtlasIED, reducing coordination time on complex projects. Enhanced voicing presets are accessible through the AtlasIED Atmosphere platform. The loudspeaker ships with a slip-free yoke mount and is compatible with optional pan and tilt brackets and third-party VESA mounts, giving integrators flexible placement options across varied architectural contexts. Available in black and white finishes to suit architectural requirements.
