The AtlasIED FS12T-94 is a two-way, full-range horn-loaded speaker system built for permanent installation in environments where weather resistance and controlled long-throw coverage are non-negotiable. The concentric mounting of the 1" exit compression driver to a high-directivity waveguide within the same 12" cast-frame woofer assembly delivers coherent, on-axis source reproduction across a precisely controlled 90° horizontal by 40° vertical coverage pattern — critical for directing sound where it needs to go without spill into adjacent zones.
The enclosure is molded from linear low-density polyethylene, a material choice that balances impact resistance with reduced weight at the 48-pound class — an important consideration when rigging at height. Four eyebolt inserts and an included heavy-duty stainless steel U-bracket support multiple orientations and fly-point configurations. The integrated 70.7V transformer with power taps from 50 to 400 watts and a 4Ω bypass is discretely located under a weather-protected rear cover, eliminating the exposure points common in add-on transformer designs. For system longevity, the field-serviceable transducer design allows driver replacement without removing the enclosure from its mount — a practical advantage that reduces downtime and labor cost on installed projects.
