The AtlasIED GST-G is engineered for AV integrators and system contractors working in commercial outdoor environments — theme parks, resort properties, hotels, and any architecturally landscaped area where aesthetics and durability are equally critical. The coaxial driver combines a polypropylene/kevlar cone with a mylar dome tweeter to deliver 360-degree horizontal dispersion, making it well-suited for ambient coverage across open landscape zones without requiring multiple speaker positions.
What sets the GST-G apart from standard outdoor speakers is its two-piece construction philosophy. The base installs during initial groundwork, and the speaker/transformer head unit is added after construction is complete. This staged approach eliminates the risk of driver damage or on-site theft that plagues single-unit landscape deployments. A protective cover keeps debris out of the base enclosure throughout the construction phase, preserving the interior for clean final installation.
The polyethylene enclosure is stable across extreme climate conditions, and the externally adjustable 8, 16, and 32-watt taps on the 70.7V transformer allow post-installation tuning without opening the enclosure — a practical advantage when balancing distributed audio zones on larger properties. Individual components are also available separately for retrofit or replacement scenarios.
