The die-cast aluminum housing protects internal components against the conditions present in combustible atmospheres, while the factory-installed 70.7V transformer satisfies UL requirements that prohibit field installation for listed compliance.

The driver is designed to pair exclusively with the HLE_MLE-30 polycarbonate projector horn or the HLE_MLE-32 spun aluminum bell horn — the only two horn projectors UL Listed for use with this driver. Coverage pattern selection between the two horns allows the system designer to match wide-area or focused circular dispersion to the physical layout of the installation zone, making the HLE-1T a complete, code-compliant solution for demanding communication infrastructure projects.
