The AtlasIED HLE/MLE-30 is a UL Listed, explosion-proof polycarbonate horn projector designed for engineered communication systems in hazardous and combustible environments. Safety-listed to UL1203, it is purpose-built for industrial facilities, petrochemical plants, and other classified locations where standard loudspeaker equipment cannot be deployed. The horn is compatible exclusively with HLE and MLE series explosion-proof compression driver assemblies, which are sold separately, allowing system designers to select either a 30 or 60 watt driver to match application power requirements.
The reflex-style projector geometry delivers high efficiency alongside a wide 120° x 60° dispersion pattern, ensuring broad horizontal and vertical coverage across large open areas, processing floors, or outdoor industrial zones. Only the HLE/MLE-30 and HLE/MLE-32 horns carry UL Listing for use with the HLE and MLE driver line, making the HLE/MLE-30 a compliant, engineered solution when code-mandated hazardous-location approval is required. With a 60-month warranty and precision-matched driver compatibility, this projector supports long-term reliability in demanding installed communication applications.
