The AtlasIED IED1522AIOLR is engineered for AV integrators who need to extend mic/line I/O to an existing CobraNet network without adding a full matrix or DSP chassis. Operating as a bidirectional CobraNet interface, the module simultaneously receives network audio for output to two balanced analog line-level destinations and accepts two balanced mic/line inputs for transmission back onto the CobraNet network — making it well-suited for distributed audio installations where additional I/O nodes are required in classrooms, boardrooms, houses of worship, or campus paging systems.
On-board DSP removes the need for external processing hardware at the endpoint. Each audio output supports up to ten seconds of programmable delay — useful for delay-fill speakers in large venues — while a five-band parametric equalizer with high-pass, low-pass, peaking, and notch filters handles room correction. A compander/limiter on each input controls dynamics at the source. Four opto-isolated GPIO inputs and four normally open relay outputs enable logic-based control integration with room automation or paging trigger systems.
Power over Ethernet via 802.3af on the primary connection eliminates local power supplies at remote endpoints, reducing installation cost and complexity. Redundant CobraNet support with independent channels for input and output paths protects network audio delivery in mission-critical installed environments where signal continuity is required.
