The AtlasIED IED1544ZOP Zone Output Processor is purpose-built for system integrators deploying GLOBALCOM Series Announcement Control Systems in facilities that require seamless bridging between Dante digital audio networks and balanced line-level analog devices. Acting as a GCK endpoint, it gives installers a clean, controllable I/O interface without external conversion hardware, making it a practical choice for hospitals, transit hubs, corporate campuses, and large-venue PA installations.
Ambient intelligence is built in: up to eight IED0540S ambient noise sensors can feed automatic level adjustment data to GCK, raising output in loud environments and pulling it back in quieter zones—up to two sensors per channel for localized control or remote adjustment via a T112/T112C station. This eliminates the manual re-tuning that fixed-level systems require when occupancy and background noise shift throughout the day.
Reliability is addressed at multiple layers. Redundant Power over Ethernet keeps the unit online if a primary feed drops, with an optional 12, 24, or 48V DC auxiliary input for non-PoE switch environments. Four supervised logic inputs actively detect shorted or broken wires rather than waiting for a fault to surface during a live event. Speaker line supervision via the IED5411EOL end-of-line module and IEDM596SGFI indicator rounds out the fault-detection chain, with an onboard relay that trips automatically on detection—critical for life-safety and mass-notification deployments.
