The AtlasIED IED5404CS-H is a four-button digital microphone station designed for AV integrators and system designers building networked paging and public address systems around the AtlasIED 5400ACS Announcement Control System. By consolidating audio and control data onto a single Ethernet cable and drawing power directly from any standard PoE switch, installation is simplified without the need for separate power runs or analog audio wiring.
Dante technology handles audio transport, delivering high-quality, low-latency digital audio across the network at 48kHz with 24-bit A/D conversion — a meaningful step up from legacy analog paging infrastructure. The station's frequency response and signal-to-noise ratio are specified at broadcast-grade tolerances, making it appropriate for intelligibility-critical environments such as healthcare facilities, transportation hubs, educational campuses, and corporate interiors.
