The AtlasIED 5450CS series is built for facilities requiring precise, programmable control over distributed audio announcements — transit hubs, healthcare campuses, educational institutions, and corporate campuses where voice intelligibility and system flexibility are non-negotiable. Each station functions as a network appliance, capable of obtaining an IP address automatically or being assigned a static address, which simplifies large-scale deployment and integration with the 5400 Series Announcement Control Systems.
The touchscreen front panel gives operators a fully programmable user interface for initiating audio and visual announcements without requiring separate control hardware. The auxiliary line-level audio input supports a local background music source, while the line-level audio output can serve as a dedicated zone feed — two capabilities that reduce the need for external routing hardware in installations where both paging and background audio are required.
Where this station stands apart from basic paging controllers is in its microphone engineering. The electret condenser cartridge is positioned within the housing to enhance frequency response and maximize acoustical coupling, producing a full-bodied voice signal that cuts through ambient noise in demanding environments.
